Dream

This is a dream I had last night pertaining to the church. Hope this is a huge encouragement!

In my dream I was walking through a field. Really barren, seemed like it was going through a drought of sorts. As I kept walking I came to this moat filled with water. In the middle of the moat there was a giant tree, filled with an abundance of every kind of fruit imaginable. Every creature lived within this moat and flocked to the tree. The water in the moat seemed to be swirling around the moat giving life to the tree and the animals that lived there.

I then asked God how does this pertain to us as a church. It seemed very clear that we have been in a drought for a long time. It has almost been like we have been nomadic going from place to place.  But I became to realize that God wants us to take refuge in him and have faith that he will take us out of the drought and bring us to a place that bears much fruit and gives life to all things. However, he made it very clear that we need to trust in him. We as a church and a leadership need to press into him. Then, he will draw near to us. God has made a place for us to dwell full of blessing and bearing fruit. We just need to step out in faith!!
